Will Thomas is an award-winning director, editor, and cinematographer based in Atlanta, Georgia, whose visionary work has single-handedly transformed the Christian Hip-Hop music video landscape. His videos have surpassed 300 million streams worldwide — across platforms alone — earning him numerous Music Video of the Year honors. His innovative visual album and short film Southern Lights: Overexposed garnered widespread critical acclaim, and his influence extends well beyond the genre. A 2016 Stellar Award nominee, Thomas has built an elite client roster that includes the NFL, Sony, ESPN, Billboard, RCA Records, Capitol Records, MTV, Vibe, and BET — with projects spanning major metropolitan cities across North America and countries abroad.

In 2020, amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Thomas partnered with collaborator Brinson Wright to direct the feature documentary Godchaserz — a production that defied the odds and went on to win over 60 “Best Documentary” awards in 2021. The film is now available on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Tubi.

Most recently, Thomas claimed the 2026 Music Video of the Year award for 13:4’s “Forever” at the International Christian Film Festival, where he also received a Best Director of Photography nomination. He earned an additional 2026 Stellar Award nomination for Music Video of the Year for “On The Way Remix” featuring Adia and Erica Campbell.

Currently in production on his fourth feature film, Will Thomas continues to push the boundaries of faith-driven visual storytelling.
